THOR

was created in response to some of the

basic requirements of TECOI's customers, who

needed to combine thermal cutting with machining

operations, such as drilling, milling, tapping,

countersinking, etc in large thicknesses and with

complex geometries

THOR

is a machine that , under a robust

double beam gantry design , combines

plasma oxyfuel cutting and bevelling with

machining tasks in its central area

The

machining heads are connected to the beam

through a triple guide system and have an

independent track of 610 mm

Meanwhile, the gantry is supported by

mechanised beams with 45 mm linear guidance

and a system of four rollers per support on a

sliding base, which gives an exceptional

dimensional stability to the entire set.
